Twitter (2019.12.31)
I started Twitter in April this year. Now
it has become a part of my life.
I was inspired to start it by a book,
titled "Output Taizen" by Shion Kabazawa, a psychiatrist. It tells us
that "output" - which means to speak and to write - is the key to our
best performance. Even if we "input" - which means to listen and to
read - a lot, we can't grow enough without "output".
I've been learning English conversations
online and I encounter new words or expressions almost every day. Even if I
learn them, however, they would disappear from my memory if I don't
"output" them.
In "Output Taizen", the author
recommended us to post what you experienced, felt or learned on Twitter or
other SNS every day. By doing that, he explained, we can memorize those experiences
better and get a lot of feedback and useful information. In other words, we can
develop ourselves.
And that was true. Now I post English phrases
I learned online almost every day and I get those benefits on Twitter.
This year's initial goal was to gain 100
followers, but now over 200 followers are following my tweets. I've met many interesting
people on Twitter. I am so glad, and I really appreciate it.
I am looking forward to meeting all kinds
of people as well as seeing the changes I go through next year through twitter.
